Pic unrelated. Dollar store steaks probably aren’t the best quality meat.
Last night was the first time I ever experienced it in the Kia. In the crappy cars I had it never bothered me. But after a wet 15 mile stretch in the rain, hearing the “thumpity thumpity” of water evaporating between pad and rotor freaked me out.

My wife actually bought half a dozen of them for the dogs. They consisted of about 2.5 oz of water and a tiny sliver of meat. Like a steak-umm with fat and gristle.
